Health Care for All--Santa Cruz Chapter

" Health Care Reform:

Hope for All Californians "

State Senator Sheila Kuehl (Dem.–Santa Monica) is the author of SB 840 (CA Health Insurance Reliability Act), which would provide comprehensive health coverage to all residents under a single-payer system.

Last November, Senator Kuehl came to Santa Cruz and talked about the future and progress of her bill and about the impacts and financing of a universal health insurance system for California. It was an exciting and informative evening in which we looked at solutions to California's health care crisis.
