Democracy is not a spectator sport. The only way that we can fix our health insurance system is to act now and stay active. The insurance companies are hoping that you won't.

Our strategy works in two ways. First, we are active in the Santa Cruz community educating the public. Second, we are making our voice heard in Sacramento, putting pressure on our lawmakers. No matter what your talent, there's something you can do to help out.

On Your Own

	Call (831) 423-0846 today to become a member of Health Care for All.
	Call or write a letter to your state senator, your assembly person, and the governor in support of SB-840, asking them to become a co-author.
	See our action alerts.
	Write a letter to your local newspaper. Tell them you're sick of insurance companies dictating our medical system and it's finally time for a single-payer system.
	Ask your club, organization, employer, or union to endorse SB-840. If they want to know more, contact us to arrange a presentation.
	Spread the word to your friends and colleagues.

Attend our monthly chapter meeting on the second Saturday of every month at the Quaker Meeting House, 225 Rooney st , Santa Cruz from 10 am -11.30
